AIX Investors United

How we handle your information

You are being asked to trust a group of strangers with information about your investment. We take that seriously, so we collect as little as possible and are open about all of it. This is also how you can tell us apart from the people who prey on investors: they harvest your data, we avoid collecting it.

What we never collect

  • Your name.
  • The amounts you invested or are owed.
  • Your AIX login details, passwords, or one-time codes. Ever.
  • Your full contract reference in plain text.
  • Copies of your documents beyond the moment of verification.

What we do keep, and why

  • A contact address (email, and optionally a Signal username) so we can reach you about your application.
  • A one-way fingerprint of your contract reference, never the reference itself. It cannot be read back into your contract number.
  • A few non-identifying details you choose from a list: the month you invested, what you invested in, and where. These help us understand the shared situation.

Verification documents are deleted

During verification we may look at a document or a screen to confirm you are a genuine investor, with sensitive details covered. We do not store these. They are deleted within 48 hours of a decision. Verification happens in a private, encrypted chat, never on this website.

We never sell or share anything

Nothing you give us is ever sold, shared, or shown to other members. Inside the group everyone uses an alias, and no member ever sees another member's contact details. The data lives on servers in the European Union and is reachable only by the volunteers who review applications.
